How many lessons my son or
daughter have to take?
All teenagers under 17 and a half, must complete 6 hours
of driving
behind the wheel with
an
instructors to obtain a
certificate of completion that is required by the DMV to
take the final
driving test.
What area the minor's provisional license requirements?
a) Be at least 16 years or older,
Prove that you finished both Driving Education
(blue
Certificate) & Driving Training (Orange
Certificate):
b) Have had and instruction permit
for at least 6 month (ex. if you
get the permit when you are
16
years old you can go for the
driving test at 16 and a 1/2 year old).
c)
Provide parent's signature on your instruction permit
stating you have completed 50 hours of
supervised driving practice (10
hours must completed at nigh)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS:
During the first year after your
son/daughter are licensed he/she
must be accompanied by a
driver at
least 25 years old between the
hours of midnight and
5 AM, or if your son/daughter
transport people
under the age of 20 years old.
During the second semester (six month after your
son/daughter have been
licensed) he/she
must be
accompanied by a driver 25 years
of age or older between
midnight and 5:00 AM,
however
he/she may
transport passengers under 20
without supervision.
